Jaguar I-Pace becomes the first electric ring taxi

A copy of the connected raised vehicle joins the fleet of the Race Taxi company, which specializes in first rides on the Nürburgring alongside a professional driver. Enough to experience the great thrill even with an electric motor under the hood.

The Nürburgring-based Race Taxi company received a superb Jaguar XE SV Project 8 a few months ago. The supercharged British sedan is now supported in the company’s offer of the first electric “ring taxi”: a Jaguar I-Pace SUV.

Bad language will say that such a vehicle has nothing to do on a circuit. The Jaguar I-Pace has as a reminder four-wheel drive and a 400-horsepower electric motor allowing it to bring down the exercise from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.8 seconds.

The model is usually able to travel 470 kilometers without passing the plug. Its very dynamic use will considerably reduce its autonomy for the benefit of a very special experience.

The Jaguar I-Pace will have to face the 73 corners of green hell daily. A life-size test that will reveal the way in which the parts and components of the overseas SUV wear out. A trip for three people on board the I-Pace is charged at € 149. The same service with the most exclusive XE SV Project 8 raises the bill to € 249.
